ELIGIBILITY

Infants and toddlers from birth to three years may be eligible for BabyNet services if they are developing more slowly in any of the following ways:

 

  • Learning to crawl and sit

  • Learning to walk

  • Height & weight

  • Learning how to think

  • Learning to listen & talk

  • Getting along with others

  • Doing things on their own

 

Any child who has been professionally diagnosed with one of the conditions listed here is automatically eligible for BabyNet services based on "established risk" according to Babynet policies and procedures.

 

Older children may qualify for services through SC Department of Disabilities and Special Needs (DDSN). You can contact them at 1-800-289-7012. Aging with Flair staff will be glad to help you with the DDSN referral process.


All children who meet the eligibility criteria will be served regardless of family income. 

Anyone can make a referral to BabyNet.

First, complete the BabyNet Referral Form then.... 

Second, submit your referral ....
 

1. Contact a local BabyNet office and fax in your referral form. Contact Information for BabyNet Offices in S.C.

OR

2. Call 1-866-512-8881 and reach someone in the State BabyNet office who will help get your referral to the right place.

OR

3.Send an email to babynet@scfirststeps.org for assistance.

4. Contact Aging with Flair by telephone at (864) 757-9920 or email at awfreferral@agingwithflair.biz and request free assistance from one of our specialists located throughout the state.
