Aging With Flair, LLC , seeks experienced educators / early interventionists to work with families with special needs children ages infant to six (6) in most areas of South Carolina. We have established teams in Anderson, Greenville, Spartanburg, Greenwood, Newberry, Rockhill, Columbia, Charleston, and Myrtle Beach! Services are provided in family homes or other child-care and community settings.

 

Part-time and full time positions are available.

An early interventionist works in partnership with the families as an advocate and educator to ensure that children/families have access to medical, social, and educational, and other services to assist with a child's developmental delay. Early interventionists are also expected to participate in community events and screenings for developmentally delayed children.

Benefits:

  • Competitive pay, currently starting at $27.50 per hour plus $2.50 per hour PTO.

Educational Requirements:

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree.

 

Experience:

  • 5 years documented experience working with infants and toddlers, OR

  • 5 years documented experience with children age birth to 5 years with disabilities.

 

Other Requirements:

  • A valid drivers license and personal transportation with insurance;

  • Federal background and criminal record check (including fingerprinting);

  • A valid first aid /CPR certification specific to children;

  • Two-Step TB Skin Test (intradermal Mantoux method).

  • Literacy in Spanish is a plus!
